My preschoolers and I have been loving our Circle Time Games! I love that my students are practicing important skills and the kids love that the games are fun.
What are Circle Time Games?
Circle Time Games are simple, quick and engaging skill-based games that you do with your class as a whole group during circle time.

During each Circle Time I plan a game to play. The games are all based on a skill that preschoolers need to learn. We play that one game after doing our normal Circle Time routine (greeter, weather, well-wisher, calendar, etc.). The games only take about 5 or so minutes to complete. So, they were created to play during circle time and to review and practice important skills.
Are there enough games for the whole year?
Sure is! Right now there are 3 Circle Time Game Packs: Fall, Winter and Spring. Summer is coming soon.
The Fall pack has a set of games with a School theme and a set of games with a Fall theme.
The Winter pack has a set of games with a Winter theme and a Holiday theme. Just an fyi, the Holiday theme doesn’t include any religious images or Santa images.
The Spring pack has a set of games with a Spring theme and a set of games with an Easter theme. Again, the Easter theme doesn’t include any religious images.
Which skills are covered?
Each set of games includes 20 games that cover 20 skills. The skills included are:

Since each set includes 20 games, each pack includes 40! For example, the Fall Pack has 20 school themed games and 20 fall themed games.
How do you organize that many games?
Most of the games I organize in a small manila envelope. This keeps the pieces all together. Included with each game is a title square and an instructions that can be glued to the front of the envelope. Some games don’t get cut apart, therefore I place them in page protectors.
To store the games, I place them in a 3 ring binder. I recommend at least a 2 inch binder- I used a 1 in and it’s busting at the seams! I 3-hole punch the manila envelopes too (although only 2 holes get punched because of the size of the envelope).
